Chapter 18: The Final Teaching

मोक्ष संन्यास योग
Abandon all dharmas and surrender to me alone — I will free you from all sin

The final chapter of the Bhagavad Gita is the longest and the most complete. Krishna summarises all 17 previous chapters and then delivers his ultimate teaching: 'Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.' This is the Gita's most radical statement — even dharma, even karma yoga, even bhakti — all are finally surrendered. The closing verse asks: 'Has Arjuna listened? Has his confusion been destroyed?' Arjuna answers: 'My illusion is gone. My memory is restored. I will do as you say.' He picks up his bow.

Say simply: 'I surrender this — whatever I am carrying right now — to something greater than myself.' Don't over-analyse. Just release. Feel the relief. That is the closing teaching of the Gita.

Best at the end of the day before sleep.
