The Gayatri Mantra (Rigveda 3.62.10) composed by Vishwamitra is the most universally chanted Vedic mantra: 'Om Bhur Bhuvah Svah, Tat Savitur Varenyam, Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi, Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat' β May we meditate on the glorious light of the divine Sun; may it illuminate our intellect.
