Shantinatha

शान्तिनाथ
The lord of peace — sixteenth Tirthankara who was also a universal king

Shantinatha is the sixteenth Tirthankara and uniquely was also a Chakravartin (universal emperor) in a previous life. His symbol is the deer and he was born in Hastinapur. He represents the paradox that the most powerful can also be the most peaceful — the lion who needs not roar.
