Ajitanatha

अजितनाथ
The unconquered one — second ford-maker of the current cosmic cycle

Ajitanatha is the second Tirthankara of the current cosmic age. His symbol is the elephant, representing strength and steadiness. He is said to have lived for an immensely long time in a previous era when humans were far longer-lived. His shrine at Ayodhya (one of the five Jain tirtha-towns) is an important pilgrimage site.
