मुनिसुव्रत
The monk of good vows — twentieth Tirthankara of patient, steady progress

Munisuvrata is the twentieth Tirthankara. His symbol is the tortoise and he was born in Rajagriha (modern Rajgir, Bihar). The tortoise energy — patient, protected, steadily advancing — defines the contemplative who moves slowly but never retreats.

A 60-second practice

Withdraw your senses from external stimuli for 60 seconds, like the tortoise withdrawing its limbs. Eyes closed, no phone. Pure stillness.

Best at dusk.
