Arjuna
अर्जुन
The greatest archer who dropped his bow — whose crisis became humanity's greatest spiritual text
Arjuna is the third of the five Pandava brothers and the greatest archer in the world, taught by Drona and blessed by Indra. He is the student in the Bhagavad Gita — the human being whose confusion, grief, and paralysis on the battlefield of Kurukshetra provoked Krishna's entire teaching. Arjuna represents the sincere seeker: not ignorant, not evil, but genuinely confused about dharma when love and duty conflict. His transformation from paralysis to clarity is the Gita's story arc.

A 60-second practice
Arjuna's gift was that he asked. He didn't pretend to know. In one minute, identify one question you are afraid to ask — about your own life, your own path. Arjuna's willingness to be lost is what made him wise.
Best at dawn — the hour of honest questioning.
