The world's longest epic — the war of the Pandavas and Kauravas contains the Gita

The Mahabharata is one of the two major Sanskrit epics of ancient India. Attributed to Vyasa, it contains 100,000 verses and tells the story of the Kurukshetra War between the Pandava and Kaurava clans. It contains the Bhagavad Gita, Harivamsa, and many sub-stories.
