Hanuman

हनुमान
The devoted monkey-god of boundless strength and selfless service

Hanuman is the son of the wind god Vayu and the vanara Anjana. He is the greatest devotee of Rama, possessing extraordinary strength, the ability to fly, and the capacity to change his size. He found Sita in Lanka, burned Ravana's city, and carried a mountain of healing herbs to save Lakshmana's life. The Hanuman Chalisa, written by Tulsidas, is one of the most chanted prayers in India. Hanuman represents the peak of bhakti — devotion so complete that the divine itself flows through you.
