Sis Ganj Sahib
ਸੀਸ ਗੰਜ ਸਾਹਿਬ
The Gurudwara built where Guru Tegh Bahadur was beheaded — a shrine to religious freedom
Sis Ganj Sahib Gurudwara in Chandni Chowk, Delhi, marks the spot where Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, was publicly beheaded by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb on 24 November 1675 for refusing to convert to Islam and for defending the religious freedom of Kashmiri Pandits. 'Sis Ganj' means 'the place of the head'. The Gurudwara is open all hours and the langar serves all visitors. It is one of the most emotionally significant sites in Sikh history.

A 60-second practice
Recall a time you stood for someone who could not stand for themselves. If you cannot recall one, resolve to be that person the next time it matters.
Best at any time — the Gurudwara is open 24/7.
