ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ
One God, equality of all people, service to humanity — Ik Onkar

Sikhism was founded by Guru Nanak (1469–1539 CE) in the Punjab region of South Asia. Its core teaching is Ik Onkar — there is one God who pervades everything, formless and beyond attributes. The Sikh path involves Nam Simran (meditation on God's name), Kirat Karo (honest work), and Vand Chhako (sharing with others). The Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the eternal living Guru — a scripture that contains hymns by Sikh Gurus, Hindu saints, and Muslim Sufis alike.

A 60-second practice

Say 'Waheguru' (Wondrous Lord) slowly 10 times with full attention. This is Nam Simran — the core Sikh practice of remembering the divine in every breath.

Amrit vela (pre-dawn, 3-6am) is the primary time for Sikh prayer.
