विष्णु
The preserver who descends to restore cosmic order
Vishnu is the sustainer of the universe in the Hindu Trimurti — creator Brahma, preserver Vishnu, destroyer Shiva. He descends to Earth as an avatar whenever dharma declines. His ten principal avatars (Dashavatara) include Matsya the fish, Kurma the tortoise, Rama the prince, and Krishna the cowherd-god. He is depicted with four arms holding a conch, discus, lotus and mace, reclining on the cosmic serpent Shesha on the milk ocean.

A 60-second practice
Chant 'Om Namo Narayanaya' 12 times slowly. With each repetition, visualise blue light flowing from your heart outward — sustaining, protecting, steadying.
Best at midday — Vishnu's energy peaks when the sun is highest.
